The purpose of the position is to ensure development and implementation of the on-trade channel strategy and tools as per Carlsberg Grp strategy and priorities and to Implement an effective and efficient execution of the plans that meet the partner, on-trade customer- and consumer segments. 

Position in brief :

Responsible for developing & driving the Carlsberg Brands performance in the ELUD markets with focus on the On-trade Channels:

  • Together with the ELUD marketing team and BU Heads and the partners in the ELUD markets supports the execution of our brand strategies in the on-trade channels
  • Delivery of the business volume and profit objectives by brand.
  • Collaborate with Carlsberg GC and develop and implement the on-trade strategy and tools as per Carlsberg guidelines – including picos, permanent execution, activations, staff engagement, quality management and overall BPPC
  • In collaboration with the ELUD brand marketing team ensure strong brand building strategies, tactics, activations, tools to build our brands in on-trade. Short- and long term
  • Develop volume-build-up and distribution plans to ensure that availability is maximized in line with the brand strategy distribution guidelines and current market needs.
  • Lead the digital agenda and roll out of digital assets and tools relevant for on-trade

  • Strong in building partnership relations and in stakeholder management
  • Sales & Business Admin competences (at least 5y experience preferably from FMCG. Beer / spirits experience a bonus)
  • Experience from working in or with a sales force, partners and distributors / 3rd party RTM
  • Strong project management competences
  • Experience in working with data, SFA & CRM systems, reporting & sales analysis 
  • A passionate team player with a strong personal drive and a track record in getting things done through taking ownership and driving for results

 
We are looking for a candidate with  :
 

  • M Sc. degree within Marketing and/or Sales/Business Administration
  • Language: English mandatory
  • Experience: Min. +3 years within FMCG business and local market experience

On Trade Channel Development and Management

  • Be our on-trade champion and ambassador in ELUD and towards our ELUD partners
  • Drive the agenda for on-trade channel
    • Development, segmentation, outlet classification and PICOS
    • Permanent execution and activation tools
    • Digital
    • Analytical and creative driver to always ensure world class execution
  • Together with ELUD marketing and GC drive and implement strategies, guidelines, toolkits and plans for POS & permanent equipment (Coolers and draught/DM)
  • Ensure the ELUD partners get physical and digital materials and toolboxes are trained and equipped the Carlsberg way - with sell in material, POS, training materials, quality management etc.
  • Lead insights, collect data/surveys, analyze retail landscape, key channels and customers.

 
Sales Performance & Tracking and management reporting

  • With BU heads, region managers and partners in key markets define measures and targets and track performance


Digital, SFA & FIT 

  • In alignment with internal stakeholders (rest of ELUD, GC, CBS) lead the support to our partners and markets in Sales Force Automation and FIT for ontrade
  • Define, implement and track measures for availability, visibility and pricing per sku, per channel and segment

Ownership of digital tools including Qserve, Skillserve etc for roll out in key markets
