Mechanical Engineer with a flair for IT-0074A1

At Schneider Electric we are looking for a mechanical engineer who can help turn research and innovation into finished products and at the same time support the IT infrastructure. Your main tasks:  
The mechanical topics in the position includes: 
- Designing mechanical solutions of platform bricks for our products in Creo 
- Solving and fixing issues on current platform bricks
- Creating 2D drawings, of for example cable schematics, in Visio. 
- Being the super user of our mechanical design and part tracking systems. 

The IT topics in the position includes: 
- Collaborating with colleagues on launching new tools 
- Following the development and changes of our mechanical tool 
- Being the local super user supporting other developers with training and day to day issues
- Actively guide and give feedback to our IT department ensuring that our pro-grams meet our needs in the best way possible 

Technical competencies: 
We are looking for a qualified and motivated colleague for this exiting position, but it is not important for us whether your knowledge and skills originates from a specific tech-nical education or mainly from experience in mechanical engineering and IT. 
What matters to us is that you can document your skills as a mechanical engineer and your flair and expertise with IT. 

You will succeed if you:  
- Have a strong drive to solve complex challenges 
- Dare to disrupt by being open to change and always trying to be smarter today than yesterday. You want to learn every day.
- Have an inclusive mindset with a good cultural understanding
- Have experience with Vision and Creo CAD software or another similar tool
- Are fluent in English on a professional level. Preferably you also speak Danish, but this is not a requirement
