About the Team

Marel Meat focuses on the development, sales, installation and service of equipment for the pork and cattle processing industry. We are the world market leader in this field and in Roskilde, we work with stunning equipment for pork. At our office in Roskilde, you will be a part of a team that has great experience within their field of expertise and are known for their high quality work.

About the Role

Your tasks will include:

  • On-site testing, investigation and verification of concepts and designs (within a broader team, as well as independently)

  • On-site implementation of production technology, including monitoring functionality, cleaning aspects, reliability, safety and cost price, with the goal of fulfilling the design and requirements

  • Preparation of assembly/detail drawings and part lists

  • Maintenance of machinery, layouts, assemblies and components

  • Working on the planned mechanical deliverables, in collaboration with vendors and stakeholders

  • Ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with Company guidelines (MEDS) and relevant international standards

  • To be successful in the role, you should have:

  • A Diploma in Production Technology (as a “Produktionsteknolog”), Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable work experience and knowledge (e.g. as a Konstruktør or similar)

  • Experience with or knowledge of 3D design tools (preferably Solidworks)

  • 3 years of experience in comparable job

  • Good skills in written and spoken English

  • Willingness to travel from time to time, as there will be some work performed on-site (not more than 30 days per year)

  • Other useful skills and competencies:

  • Knowledge of relevant production techniques, materials and components

  • Good understanding of mechanics and industrial automation

  • Ability to work with customers, vendors and co-workers in a courteous and tactful manner

  • Adaptability, problem solving skills and time management skills

  • Team player attitude and willingness to contribute and help the people
