Do you want to break new land and have very good colleagues?

If you are looking for an opportunity to unfold and expand your skills within clinical drug development, you will not find better opportunities than in this dedicated clinical development position. You will join a global and successful company that has set the very ambitious goal to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner.

We have a strong pipeline and a lot of interesting projects. But we are far from done. As our new colleague, you can look forward to highly interesting challenges in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere characterized by trust, team work and a strong focus on your well-being and personal development.

Medical Expert in cross-organizational project teams

As a Medical Expert working on a high profile project within biologics you will join an ambitious, fun-loving and closely collaborating team of 5-6 Medical Expert colleagues striving to bring this new treatment to patients with atopic dermatitis. You will also work in cross-organizational project teams together with other highly skilled colleagues from multiple countries. Your primary tasks will depending on your level of experience be to:

  • Drive the medical and scientific content of Clinical Development Plans
  • Contribute to applications for registration of new products
  • Represent LEO Pharma in interactions with external stakeholders including investigators, therapeutic experts and regulatory authorities

You will be based at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Currently there is almost no travel and it is uncertain what the new normal will be.

MD with clinical drug development experience and strong analytical skills

We are looking for a person with strong analytical skills and the ability to create results as part of various teams. This calls for your open-minded approach and understanding of and respect for cultural and professional differences. You must also be good at presenting your results and recommendations (written and spoken), however you do not need to be extrovert to succeed in this position. Your CV comprises:

  • An education as Medical Doctor and preferably clinical experience
  • Research experience, preferably a PhD (not a prerequisite for applying)
  • Experience within clinical drug development (not a prerequisite for applying)
  • Experience and/or a professional interest within the field of dermatology

Your new department

You will join approx. 50 scientists who share the ambition to turn exciting challenges into the best and most innovative treatments of tomorrow. Most of us are based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. Additionally we have smaller units in the US and China. We are organized in 5 sections; three sections with Medical Experts and two sections with Medical Writers.
Our environment is founded on trust and respect and we believe that people that thrive make the greatest results. A good work-life balance and focus on development opportunities are important components in this. We know that we can only succeed as a team and for the same reason we have an on-going focus on teamwork and collaboration.

We look forward to receiving your application before 20 October 2020. If you have questions or want to hear more, please feel free to contact our Head of Section for Medical Department, Ditte Bretler, on +45 53550031 or rbrdk@leo-pharma.com.
