Position Responsibilities

Do you want to join a business with a strong reputation and ambitious growth plans? We are looking for an ambitious Pre-sales Manager with strong understanding of the Professional Services Market, to join us and lead the Pre-Sales team for our Maconomy ERP solution. The role can be based in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, London or Amsterdam – based on your location and where our offices are.

We’re looking for a strong manager who wants to take the leadership of a team of 5 professional presales consultants that delivers world class demos to our prospects and customers.

Your work will be focused on developing the sales strategy and execution of that for the Maconomy ERP solution in collaboration with the local Sales Directors and ensure the team always deliver according to the best across the globe. This will mean that on certain deals you will step in and be the overall architect and advisor on the specific prospect case and be talking head to head with the CFO on the prospect side to advice and demonstrate how we can add value to their business.

It will also mean that certain cases you will be delivering fully on your own and have the direct contact with the sales person and deliver discoveries and demos.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that our sales tools used for demonstrating our solutions to our prospect are always top notch, whether that being our sales presentations, our packaged demo solutions or other collateral. This all happens in collaboration with our Consulting team as well as our Product Marketing team.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we would love for you to have the following:

  • A Master degree or similar, or equivalent experience, as well as a strong finance and economics knowledge
  • Experience with Maconomy as an ERP solution, either as a consultant or using the solution yourself
  • Detailed knowledge of the professional service market – could i.e. be Engineering, Consulting, Audit or similar companies
  • It would be advantageous if you have worked as a controller, CFO or similar in one of the above company profiles – or worked as a Senior consultant, Solution Architect or Solution Engineer before
  • Ready to travel 20-30% of your time to clients – within the whole EMEA region + a few trips to USA
  • Preferably manager experience from managing a small team of people
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively present to senior management people like CFO’s – COO’s
  • Enthusiasm towards accounting and business software and related technology
  • Analytical / problem solving skills
  • A positive energetic, "can-do" attitude is a must. This is a role for a motivated, nimble, self-starter
