The vision of the Business Development, Insights and Analytics Function is to be a new source of Competitive Advantage for PepsiCo that drives sustainable results by creating, stimulating and monetizing demand and enabling better decisions across the enterprise. The mission is to move from knowledge generators to decision change agents by relentlessly pursuing decisions that have a material impact on the business and advocating for the best actions.
The main purpose of this role is to become a strategic partner in defining strategic and tactical opportunities across our Beverage, Snacks and Nutrition categories trough:- Leading the Shopper insights agenda to ensure we have strong shopper centric insights to accelerate business growth.- Define the strategy and supporting revenue management initiatives in terms of pack/price, promotion, pricing, in store execution, portfolio choices through insights generation.- Develop powerful Insights and Analytics to support our Category strategies together with Commercial and Marketing - Ensure we have enough ideas to accelerate the growth in across all sales channels.
Accountabilities
- Unlock insights to define strategies that ensure the growth of business including Pack Price, Promotions, Pricing, Portfolio, Innovation, Category vision, In store Execution, etc.- Lead through Insights and ensure all the departments execute plans consistent with the insights and incorporate the voice of the shopper, consumer and customer into the ongoing business so that it can impact the strategy.- Identify business opportunities to accelerate the Business growth through understanding the consumer, shopper and the retail landscape and use it a s a competitive advantage- Build an advanced multidimensional understanding of Shoppers (both internal & retailer specific), categories, behavioral needs, wants, and key influencers. Translating data into actionable insights across all dimensions.- Impact the go to market partners with compelling insights that translates into opportunities for them and being always the voice of the shopper- Manage consultants, suppliers and agencies ensuring the projects and researches are delivered with quality and on time.Support the Nordics Business Unit with Insights, securing market knowledge through selection of tools to better understand the shoppers and customers. Be responsible for selected Insights to be used as guidelines for innovations, communication and sales strategy for Snacks, Grains, Juice and Beverages chipping in to PepsiCo Nordic achieving short and long term Business Objectives. Be the local Super User on Nielsen and other relevant market data/shopper tools. Responsible for internal capabilities for relevant functions like Commercial Account Manager, Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager and Marketing. Run local training as required.
- Position can be based in Copenhagen or Oslo.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements:
•University degree•Excellent Analytical skills and shown success in developing analytical studies, models, templates and tools.•Experience (8 years +) from Insights function (shopper/category/consumer/trends).•Knowledge into brand tracking, Nielsen, GfK, Global Data and analyzing external environment•Experience in transforming insights into actionable activities.•Priority setting - consistently works against the right priorities making the right short-term decisions without sacrificing long-term results

•Ability to navigate and influence within matrix structure with consistent track record.•Ability to think broadly and objectively to grow the business with a problem-solving mindset.•Analytically strong with ability to sort through multiple data sources and define key insights•Relationship builder with great communication skills.•Understanding of Nordic retail environment and trends.•Project management skills.•Experience with Nielsen Answers.•Fluent English•Fluency in one Nordic language Relocation Eligible: Not Applicable
