Online Sales Specialist

Your challenges

Joining our newly established Regional Marketing department based in Hørsholm, where you will be a part of the North Western European Customer Experience Unit (CXU) responsible for end-to-end customer experiences. You will join a brand new, young and ambitious team of 5 specialists that are dedicated to optimising our digital marketing, media and customer experience in the region. You will play a key role in ensuring VELUX’ long term success in the online segment by enabling a close to customer and end-user view of priorities and strategy execution.

You will bridge operational activities into the North West Regional team, to secure smooth execution and better cooperation with Global Online Sales and Global CXU teams. Moreover, you will be cooperating with global and regional departments and ensuring coherency of sales campaigns and promotions across the owned e-shops in the region.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Lead VELUX solutions visibility on dealers e-shops and the support of day-to-day management of VELUX Branded e-shops
  • Coordinate the product portfolio consistency across owned and third-party ecommerce websites in collaboration with project teams, shop managers and product managers
  • Monitor the online sales landscape and pricing, including a standardized reporting
  • Support and execute online campaigns in collaboration with regional customer service, CXU, logistics, trade terms and pricing
  • Support the e-commerce strategy execution in conjunction with the Global CXU and the Online Sales Organisation
  • Introduce and share best practices and learnings
  • Collaborate with Global Online Sales organisation and the website maintenance team
  • Optimize the SEO positioning of the VELUX Branded e-shops and ensure the right traffic balance between marketing sites
  • You will be part of a global organisation and can expect to travel approximately 10-20 days annually internationally. 

    Your qualifications

    You have a strong ability to work independently and can prioritise and organise your own work. In addition, you have excellent interpersonal skills, communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple levels, and are inherently collaborative by nature. You thrive in a complex, international environment and are good at building a network within a large matrix organisation.

    Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Have a relevant educational background, most likely a BSc in Digital Marketing or similar
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in online sales, eCommerce or online marketing management
  • Possess experience and knowledge of Google Adwords and Google Analytics
  • Have excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Have strong project management and coordination skills
  • Have a flair for both marketing and sales to deliver an integrated well thought through sales and marketing plan
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English.
