Operational Purchase Planner for raw materials

Welcome to Toms Planning and Logistics 

From our HQ in Ballerup, you will join 14 colleagues in the Toms Planning and Logistics team. Our main focus is to secure good planning in a dynamic environment highly impacted by season. At the same time, we have a busy agenda with new projects, and we expect to create big changes to our future workflows and processes.

You are the link between Production and Sales & Marketing

As our operational purchase planner, you will be responsible for planning and executing purchase of raw materials needed for our production. 

This means that you will be in daily contact with our raw material suppliers and work closely together with production planners, warehouse management and strategic procurement.

Specifically, you will:

• Handle the daily/operational dialogue with suppliers from all over the world
• Plan and schedule purchase of raw materials
• Monitor and resolve issues on deliveries to secure timely supply
• Analyze and maintain planning parameters to support optimal planning of raw materials
• Participate in relevant projects to drive business improvement for Toms Group

Detailed mindset and great business understanding

With your attention to detail and strong system skills, you have no issue keeping parameters updated at all times. Also, you have an ability to communicate with people on all professional levels, enabling you to align necessary inputs and actions. 

You thrive with the balance between routine tasks and ad-hoc assignments – and furthermore, we imagine that you have:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree and/or strong experience from similar role
• Knowledge or experience within supply chain management and MRP/ERP systems
• Some SAP user experience or knowledge – or an interest in learning it
• A strong end-to-end business understanding
• Proficiency in written and oral English and Danish
