Paid Search Specialist

We’re searching for a paid search marketing specialist for our international, award-winning E-commerce company. If you want to be part of a world-class team and work with industry-leading tech. Read on! 

You'll have access to 2.5 million monthly users and a large-scale Google Ads setup across 28 markets and 20 categories. And you'll have our trust to grow it. There’ll be ample space for you to set the agenda on search as a channel, and while sparring will be available, you’ll be the expert.
 

Your Role

This is a full-time position reporting to the CMO. Our future colleague must be detail-oriented, results-driven, and confident in developing long-term, data-driven strategies, along with technical problem solving and optimisation.
And you have to be comfortable with a fast-paced, international environment. We're on a quest... but that quest is rocket-fueled. 
 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Grow profitability on Google Shopping and Text Ads
  • Experiment with further optimisation on Google Ads
  • Reporting on Google Ads performance (and maintaining the automated reporting stack)
  • Forge a path to growth on search
     

Who You Are

  • You’re uncommonly well-structured. You let things fall through the cracks about as often as an elephant forgets – never.
  • You work fast. You often feel like people have to catch up with you, and you’ve probably seen people get frustrated because you outpaced them.
  • You love building systems. You don’t do much repetitive work because you’ve built systems to automate or delegate it.
  • You follow through. When you say you’re going to do something, everybody knows it’s about to get done.
  • If you don’t know how to do something, you assume you’ll figure it out. And then you figure it out. 
  • You communicate effortlessly in English.
     

Your Skills 

  • Managing Google Ads at scale
  • Spreadsheet warrior. Most people “read” spreadsheets. You create more of a soul-bond with them. 
  • You get tech. APIs, Zapier, Data Studio, and the Bulk Editor. Some people would call it magic when you finish an integration project.
  • Experience managing remote workers and freelancers is a plus
  • A Google Ads certificate is nice… but it’s not enough. Your skills go beyond a course or a blog.
