Payroll Integration Lead

In order to secure the increased transparency and consistency required to demonstrate people compliance to Key Accounts, ISS is implementing a global HR system to unleash the full value of the asset of the business; the approximately 500,000 employees of ISS. This is the People@ISS project.

As Payroll Integration Lead at ISS and as part of the People@ISS implementation, you will be responsible for managing approximately 30 high complexity payroll integrations, through global integration layer, to local payroll systems in countries requiring a payroll integration. You will become a very important part of the implementation team and you will play a key role for the successful execution of the project.

With direct report to Head of Global Big Data and project wise to the Integration Lead.

Your main tasks are:

  • Establish network of local payroll system experts in each country.
  • Support local payroll system experts in managing local vendors.
  • Gather and document requirements for payroll integrations.
  • Manage the design, build, test and deployment of payroll integrations according to requirements.
  • Support in connection with implementing new processes around payroll processing as a consequence of the new payroll integrations.
  • Ensure the quality of payroll integrations to minimize impact on payroll processing.
  • Collaborating with the entire People@ISS project team as well as local payroll systems experts and local payroll vendors.
  • Working together with the Big Data Organization to share and receive leading practices for integrations.

You probably have a background from a similar position as Payroll Integration Lead on a global HR SaaS implementation backed by additional experience as Integration Lead in general. You have experience with operating and supporting payroll processes in at least one foreign country.

You have a Master’s degree within HR, statistics or the like, but most importantly is your experience. You must have knowledge of HR SaaS and Payroll systems such as SAP Successfactors or equivalent. As ISS is a truly global company, you must have professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.  

You are a person with good communication skills, confidently interacting and collaborating with stakeholders at all organizational levels internally as well as externally.

As a project leader you drive engagement and results by your ability to understand individual profiles and adapt your communication, influencing and coaching to meet with individual needs. Some stakeholders may have some resistence to the project, so you must have a pragmatic and resilient approach to handling the interaction.

Travelling: The job will require some travel activity.
