P&C Business Partner

To enable execute fully on the people side of the vision, we are now looking for an experienced HR Business Partner.

Your exposure and visibility are high, and the role offers the opportunity to both contribute to the strategic agenda as well as gaining experience in daily high impact operational decisions. This position will expose you to different parts of our business within Vestas as you will be a business partner for most of our functions. It allows you to build a network across the organisation, and lead the development of high performing and diverse leadership teams living up to the Vestas Values.

You will become part of a dynamic, regional and global business partner team, covering all business areas in Region Northern & Centrale Europe. We pride ourselves in treating each other with respect and supporting each other to stay focused, committed and motivated at all times. You will be reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture, NCE in Vestas.

In this position, you will partner up with our senior management teams to carry out the business strategy and promote the People & Culture initiatives and activities which will contribute even more towards our diverse and inclusive working culture. More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to: 

  • Act as a highly effective and trusted sparring partner to leaders at VP level in HR-related matters
  • Support, guide and coach functional leadership teams (e.g. in people matters, team building, leadership and people development and change initiatives) 
  • In close collaboration with business leaders ensure the availability and development of people resources and talents to meet the needs of the business (e.g. workforce- and succession planning, team- and talent development)
  • Lead the implementation of Vestas HR initiatives on both operational and strategic level across the global organisation, guided by our annual HR cycle 

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

  • A relevant university degree combined with 5+ years of experience from a similar position as HR Business Partner, HR Manager or Consultant in a global matrix organisation
  • Proven experience in creating an impact on organisational initiatives
  • Broad experience within several of the areas: workforce and talent management, leadership and team development, recruitment, compensation & benefits, HR legislation/labour law
  • Experienced in the Inclusion & Diversity agenda
  • Ability to operate on both strategic and tactical/operational level
  • As our corporate language is English, fluency in English is needed, both verbally and in writing

Additionally, personal impact and confidence to address senior managers, influence decision processes and navigate across different cultures, are equally important qualities. Additional information
Your primary work location will at our headquarters in Aarhus N, Denmark.

This position is a 12-month maternity cover.
