Personal Assistant to VP of CMC Support

We are looking for a new dedicated colleague to take up the position as maternity cover for the Personal Assistant to the Vice President (VP) of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Support, CMC Development.

About the department
In CMC Support, you will be part of a highly dedicated unit. Our role in CMC Development is three-fold: We provide operational support to the drug development projects and Line of Business (LOB) within statistics and outsourcing, we develop and operate support processes and systems that are used across CVP areas and we lead major business development projects across CMC Development.

The position
As the Personal Assistant to the VP, you will be reporting directly to the Vice President for CMC Support. You will be part of the management team and be responsible for a broad spectrum of administrative tasks. Your key responsibilities will be to support the VP & management team, drive the coordination of department and unit budgets and be part of the unit’s course administration team.

The VP & management team support includes VP calendar management, meeting planning (such as agendas & minutes), planning of unit meetings and seminars and coordination of managerial processes within e.g. HR and strategy.

Being the proactive coordinator of department and unit budgets is an important and very independent role, as you will be leading the financial planning process, giving guidance and setting timelines, consolidating the budget, including challenge, control and alignment of numbers in the VP area.

In addition to the Personal Assistant job, you will be part of the unit’s course administration team 1½ day a week, where you will be responsible for coordination of various across CMC Development with special focus on Management and Leadership courses.

Furthermore, you will be a member of the CMC Management PA group and have administrative colleagues across CMC Development. Together with them you will play a role in setting up cross-organisational initiatives and improving administrative processes.

The position is a 10 months maternity cover.

Qualifications
Preferably, you hold a Bachelor’s degree or an administrative education. It will be an advantage if you have experience from a similar role, however, with the right mind set and fast learning competencies the right candidate could also be a recent graduate. You are used to work with Microsoft Office and preferably also with Novo Nordisk systems such as SAP, Concur and eProcure.

As a person you are positive and dedicated. You are service-minded, have a can-do attitude, enjoy working with deadlines and have great coordination skills. You are structured and pay attention to details while keeping the greater overview. You work independently, are proactive and you always strive to find the best possible solutions. You also like to welcome new tasks and responsibilities and can navigate in a Management team with confidentiality. Finally, proficiency in verbal and written English is essential.
