Project area
The Postdoc position is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Understanding the role of Tumor-associated-macrophages (TAMs) in governing cancer cells (CSC) features is one of the major goals in cancer cell biology. Despite recent advances in this arena, more efforts are needed to identify specific molecules that promote the interactions between CSCs with TAMs and spur tumor growth. The postdoc will participate in a project that explores the nature of the selective interactions of TAMs with CSCs.
The main tasks for the Postdoctoral Fellow will be to establish macrophage and cancer stem cells primary cell lines, work with genetically engineered skin mouse models and perform cutting-edge -omics analyses, microscopy imaging and FACS.
We are looking for a talented postdoctoral scientist with extensive experience in the area of skin biology. Required qualifications include:

  • PhD in biological science area or a similar relevant area of expertise. Some experience is preferable.
