Postdoctoral fellow in Condensed Matter Theory

The Center for Quantum Devices at Copenhagen University seek candidates for a postdoctoral fellowship in condensed matter theory. Applicants are expected to have strong research credentials in the field, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with the highly active condensed matter physics and quantum information communities at the Niels Bohr Institute. Target areas include (but are not limited to): quantum dynamics in driven/open systems; mesoscopic, low-dimensional, and quantum Hall systems; quantum devices (solid state qubits); strongly correlated systems; nuclear spin dynamics, topological order and entanglement.

The initial appointment will be made for two years, with a possibility of extension for one more year. The target starting date is 1 September 2019, but may be made earlier or later by arrangement. The position will be funded in part by the ERC TOPDYN project.

The starting salary is currently up to DKK 426.625 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 72.952). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
