Pre-assembly Commissioning Supervisor

Tasks & responsibilities: You will…  

…supervise and preform commissioning tasks within Pre-assembly to complete the tasks on time, within budget and to the highest Health & Safety and Quality standards. You will be in charge of the daily planning and execution of the tasks assigned to you, and make sure that you and your team complete them in accordance with the defined methods processes and procedures.   

You will also be responsible for:   

  • Planning and coordinating all resources to make sure they are used as efficient as possible  
  • Track and record all relevant planned/unplanned work tasks  
  • Preform electrical/mechanical tasks such as testing, troubleshooting and start-up of turbine components, etc. 
  • Identify, register and manage deviations using the relevant tools, methods, processes and procedures  
  • Time registration for all employees and contractors under your supervision  
  • Ensure a safe work practice by acting in compliance with MHI Vestas HSE requirements  

 

Skills & experience: Our new colleague…  

…has a technical background, preferably electrical. You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to motivate and encourage your team to deliver the best possible results. As a person, you are an excellent team player, calm and determined under pressure as well as responsible and hard-working.   

We expect that you:   

  • Are focused on Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality (QAQC) and customer relations  
  • Have good process understanding, delegation and communication skills  
  • Have knowledge from the wind industry (advantage, not required)  
  • Are an effective and result-driven problem-solver  
  • Have good English skills
