We are looking for candidates to join us in developing the future of offshore wind turbines and production of the next generation offshore blades. How to contribute to our vision We are looking for a Process Engineer with interest in process monitoring. If you have a have a good eye for process optimization and thrive in a global environment, where you serve as a point of contact for the local engineers and blue-collar workers from our plants, this position might be interesting for you. You work will centered around the development and optimization of sensor application on the blade casting setup and on data acquisition of Critical to Process parameters. You will also be part of the development of a data monitoring system for casting setup and based on the information and conclusions derived from this process monitoring. Furthermore you will help with optimizing the shop floor documentation by e.g. exchanging manually collected data with automatically collected data and in general help drive the digitalization of business from a casting point of view. You will also get to have a strategic overview for sensor application-, data acquisition-, data monitoring- and digitalization development together with road mapping within the casting area. This will let you support on root cause analysis, problem solving and help with non-conformance handling. What you need to make a difference Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for… We are looking for candidates with an engineering degree or similar technical education within relevant area. New graduates are also encouraged to apply. You should have experience in working with sensors, data acquisition, data monitoring and process optimization and general knowledge of wind turbine blade manufacturing will be seen as a positive. Knowledge of Power BI and overall good skills in using the MS-office is needed for this position. Attitude is the multiplier; proactive and independency with the capacity to work in both an office and a production environment. You will be point of contact for local engineers and blue-collar workers and should be a people’s person with good communication skills and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be expected to share best practices within process monitoring and digitalization across departments and plants. The working language in Siemens Gamesa is English so fluency in both written and spoken English is essential. Between 10 and 25 travel days yearly is to be expected.
