Maersk Container Industry (MCI) is looking for a Post-Harvest Process Specialist to manage & drive new projects in the field of post-harvest for our Refrigeration R&D department. The concepts will rely on data exchange and data analysis, so you will be the one to link the process to refrigeration machine, overall cloud architecture and not at-least the end customer.

As Post-Harvest Process Specialist, you will be part of a highly engaged team working with one of the most advanced products in the industry, the Star Cool (SC) Refrigeration machine.

Key responsibilities

• You will be responsible for project planning, completing project execution from conception to launch the projects.
• Project manager and system responsible for post-harvest system.
• Leading post-harvest technology projects and coordinating and managing stakeholders such as suppliers, consultants, customers and internal resources.
• Preparing business cases based on the inputs available from different functions.
• A visual driving force in strengthening MCI’s position in post-harvest technologies and provide support.
• Scout for new features.
• Sparring partner for the new technology team

We are looking for

A successful candidate will have a good understanding of business processes and Systems Engineering/ Solution Engineering and Solution Architect role in a refrigerating environment. And are tasks driven, willing to take complex tasks and able to handle multitasks.

The core competencies will include but not be limited to the following:
• Process engineer, Mechanics and electronics engineer, or similar experienced.
• Preferably experienced with data analysis and transfer the conclusions in the Cloud.
• Perhaps experienced with gas sensors and gas separation.
• Project managing experiences – must be able to execute projects according to stage gate model.
• Have tried to present for the product council and stand for a point of view.
• General understanding of product business case.
• Customer and business oriented.

Personal Characteristics:
• Proactive, motivated and self-driven.
• Able to work independent, but also interact effective with colleagues and consultants.
• Able to delegate and follow up on project stakeholder’s deliveries.
• Able to crack technical complex tasks.
• Able to communicate effective in written and oral English and Danish.
• Appreciating working in a multicultural environment and able to apply a truly international and customer centric mindset.
• A robust personality, not afraid of standing up for a point of view.
