Product Strategy & Manager for Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC): Global Real Time Payments - Central Infrastructure Services

About the team

A newly formed team within FIS Chief Growth Office that is focused on the real time payments central infrastructure market. The mission of the team is help nations transformation to real time digital first economies, through the provision of mission critical software and future payment scheme innovations. These efforts support the wider FIS vision to be the market leader in the global real time payments & money movement.

What you will be doing

  • Define & own FIS market & product strategy for CBDC
  • Develop & own FIS CBDC product & services roadmap
  • Develop & own capital investment case to support CBDC strategy and roadmap
  • Manage intercompany interlocks on related digital coin initiatives
  • Define & actively manage GTM strategy to position FIS as leader within CBDC category
  • Mange the alignment with-, leverage of-, and incorporation of- central infrastructure Account-2-Account Central Infrastructure Assets
  • Active production of thought leadership material and participation in relevant market facing conferences, forums etc
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
  • What you bring:

  • Expert in payments domain (real time, clearing, settlement, domestic, cross border, card, non-card)
  • Expert in payments regulation and compliance
  • Expert in distributed ledger technologies and application of this technology to payments, in particular national schemes
  • Requires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision, and executive presence
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products
  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Client relationship management skills, understanding and focusing on clients’ needs, establishing credibility, and building positive, professional, relationships with clients
  • Analytical, problem solving skills
  • Project management skills: ability to prioritize and complete tasks
