Take on complex projects  

You will join a team of skilled Engineers and Technicians, working out of Valby, Denmark. Apart from the cement and minerals industries, we specialize within e.g. steel, power and pulp and paper, giving you ample opportunity to develop your expertise.   

This position manages and maintain our design on dust transport equipment like flatbottom scrapers and dragchains. As well as assisting our Retrofit team in finding and executing complex project solutions, your responsibilities will be to:  

• Coordinate the work with the sales Department and Product Specialists regarding complex projects solutions

• Receive day-to-day communication about immediate plant machinery problems and will be expected to solve these promptly and correctly

• Drive troubleshooting and coordinate corrective/preventive actions on commissioned equipment

• Monitor progress of the design work conducted by the draftsmen

• Build and develop long-term lasting relationships with customers

• Participate in/implement mechanical development projects  

Technical expertise 

It will be an advantage if you have practical experience with plant troubleshooting and fault finding in an industrial environment. Beside that the following traits are desirable to have:  

• Bachelor of mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge

• You are an experienced AutoCAD user

• You have experience in Solidworks or a similar tool

• You have good communication skills and your English is fluent   

Experience from one of our core industries or from e.g. the process industry is an advantage. 

Your training will be a mix of onsite training at one of our construction sites and in-house training with one of your new colleagues. 

You can expect up to 30 travel days per year.

You are about to finish a Masters Degree (ITU, DTU or similar). Ideally your degree combines a technical foundation with a solid insight into the field of business administration. In addition to this, it is an advantage (but not a must) if you possess some of the following Qualifications:

  • Profound interest in and basic insight about disruptive technologies – e.g. IoT, Machine Learning & AI
  • Understanding of basic Data Analytics and ability to transform findings into value adding activities
  • Insight in the design of user interfaces and user experience (UI/UX)
  • Passion for innovation – especially when technology is the driver in business model innovation
  • Experience with the toolboxes of project and process management
  • Strong Business Acumen and a desire to lead the way
  • Most important you have the right mind-set and attitude

 

Finally, we assume that you are an experienced user of the Microsoft O365 suite (Maybe you even have some experience with PowerApps, Power BI and MS Flow). You are a great ambassador and teacher of any IT tools.

You are fluent in English. Travel may be expected at times.

The recruitment process

The initial recruitment process is managed by Moment on behalf of Carlsberg and all questions regarding the program can be directed to carlsberg@moment.dk.

 

After deadline the best applicants will be contacted for an screening interview. If you succeed in the screening interview, you will be invited to the one of the Carlsberg Graduate Days, which will be held on the 6th and 7th February 2019.

 

The program will be kicked of from 1st of September 2018.
