Product Manager Structural Heart - Northern Europe

The Abbott portfolio of structural heart solutions has expanded significantly in recent years. We feature products to treat the broad spectrum of structural heart disease, encompassing both congenital heart defects and acquired conditions, such as valvular heart disease.

Abbott’s Structural Heart business is recruiting for an experienced Product Manager to provide additional marketing support across MitraClip and TriClip to Northern Europe. Candidates can be based anywhere within the region (UK, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nordics & Baltics).

Key responsibilities:

  • Building the user community through frequent, regular communication, leveraging peer-to-peer, digital channels, user meetings etc.
  • Developing and maintain opinion leader relationships to shape marketing strategy and communication
  • Developing expertise in market dynamics, public health and economic environment to identify potential market share gains
  • Continuous surveying of the market and competitor activities and analysis of market data
  • Communicating EMEA marketing vision, strategy and targets, including interdivisional collaboration
  • Planning and achieving strategic programs for effective product launches
  • Creating marketing information, product-forecasts, business reports etc. as requested, including contributing to business reviews
  • Initiating marketing activities e.g. mailings, campaigns, symposia, round tables etc. and supporting communication for the sales teams and customers
  • Organising and participating in product specific trainings both internally and externally and also congress, workshops etc.
  • Support the training and coaching of employees, including support of sales force in developing action plans
  • What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Significant experience in marketing, sales, clinical support or other related function within medical devices.
  • Ideally experience within a similar marketing role.
  • Strong organisational skills, coupled with good communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including PowerPoint, Excel
  • Willingness to travel through the assigned region.
