Job Responsibilities

As a Product Sustainability Expert, you will be part of our sustainability team and drive analysis and documenting for the environmental performance of our products with the aim to identify opportunities for improvement. You will together with our sustainability team deliver on our life cycle assessment (LCA) program and the development of environmental product declarations (EPD) and support the business in providing still more sustainable solutions. As part of the sustainability team, you will:

  • be part of the Danfoss Drives center of excellence for LCA and EPD and super-user of our LCA GaBi software tool and the related process
  • participating in driving the process development for data collection, LCA and product analysis
  • assist your colleagues within product development in their efforts to design more sustainable and circular products
  • support the definition of data-driven sustainability/ESG goals, milestones, and metrics year-over-year in collaboration with cross-functional partners and subject matter experts, Corporate and external stakeholders
  • participate in the responsibility for coordinating efforts around selected sustainability projects within the frame of Danfoss Drives ESG ambition
  • contribute to the training of your colleagues within sustainability subjects

  • You have a relevant, professional, and educational background and experience within sustainability and LCA
  • You have a basic insight into manufacturing, engineering and/or product development
  • You are passionate about and interested in driving the sustainability agenda hereunder social and environmental impact issues and climate change
  • You are well known to the market and regulatory trends within sustainability, and you have a broad professional network
  • You have solid project management skills, a systematic mindset, and a structured thinking in everyday work
  • You are strong in IT, quick to use new tools and to train others
  • Strong and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills in English
