Job description:

For our planning team in Glostrup we are looking for a Production planner with a wide interest within supply chain and production planning.

Our business and production setup are of a very complex character, so we need a Production Planner with the ability, to translate all these complex data into a clear plan for our Manufacturing Teams.

We are in the process of changing to a new ERP system (SAP) and we have a huge task ahead of us. The go-live date is expected to be December 1st, 2020. This means a large numbers of process changes and post go-live activities and continues improvements. We are looking for a person who like changes, are a fast learner and can optimize and improve.

You will be responsible for our Single Reagents Planning area. An area where we need new ideas and improvements to automate and optimize the workflow. Besides the daily planning tasks, there will be a large number of interesting tasks such as NPI (New Product introduction) projects, were the planners play an important role to secure that the new products hit the marked at the right time. You also need to take care of special requirements from costumers etc.

Our team is a key player in the Business Support department and consists of 6 Production planners and 1 distribution planner. The Team handle all the production planning of Reagents manufactured in Glostrup, as well as the responsibility of ensuring that all reagents are always in stock, at our distribution centers in USA, Japan, Korea, Australia, China and Brazil.

You will work in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world.

Your tasks

  • Production planning and scheduling.
  • Daily follow up with stakeholders. Production, Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Procurement and QA.
  • Balance supply and demand.
  • Follow up on Supply Chain related KPI´s.
  • Maintain planning base data.
  • Continues Improvement of the planning tasks.

  • Qualifications


    Requirements:

  • Production engineer, technician or similar. We encourage newly graduates as well as experienced candidates to apply. The job will be adjusted to match the candidate's level of experience.
  • Excel Superuser.
  • High level understanding for Supply Chain, Logistics and Production Planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems e.g. Oracle & SAP.
  • Analytical skills and an eye for the details.
  • You are independent, have a strong personality and you are able to make a decision and act on it.
  • You have excellent communication skills in both English and Danish, as you will be working with colleagues worldwide.
