Description

The Documentation team at Sitecore is looking for a technical/programmer writer to join us at our office in Copenhagen, Denmark or in Gatineau, Canada. You could also work from another location, if you live close enough to travel into one of the offices occasionally. 

You’ll be the writer for our new JSS team, and you’ll also write documentation about Sitecore platform configuration and scaling. You might be a developer who’s good at writing, or a writer who can read and write code.

You’ll work closely with product managers and developers, and you’ll be part of a collaborative and innovative documentation team based in Denmark, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SMEs to gather input for documentation about Sitecore development, configuration, and scaling.
  • Create clear and comprehensive documentation including code snippets and diagrams.
  • Maintain and update our existing range of technical documentation.
  • Use community feedback to prioritize and improve our documentation.

Your qualifications:

  • A few years as a technical writer, with experience of writing for developers and IT Pros. Or, experience working as a developer and an aptitude for writing clear concise technical information.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, and excellent writing skills in English, or a Bachelor's degree in English or technical writing, and experience of documenting software at a technical level.
  • Experience in working with JavaScript development/documentation, including GraphQL and/or REST APIs. It’s also an advantage if you have experience with frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and communicate their inherent complexities in a simple, straightforward fashion.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • A structured and independent approach to completing your assignments, with attention to detail.
