Project consultant to work in a procurement implementation project!

Academic Work is looking for a Project Consultant to our client’s company. This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from our client is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at our client.


In this position, you will participate in a multi-national procurement implementation project. You will work in a client company that is located around 30minutes from central Copenhagen. The project is part of a large transformation that will be ongoing for the year 2018. As a Junior Consultant, you will independently drive sourcing of categories, negotiations and contract implementation. There will be approximately ten persons in your project team, which is located mainly in other Scandinavian countries. Senior colleagues are there to support you and to give guidance as required. You will have a Skype meeting with your team on a weekly basis and report to Senior Consultant. Specific categories that you will be working on will be decided later, but you will be working in a range of procurement projects, with the responsibility of ensuring that initiatives are implemented and are delivering savings.


Thanks to your previous experience as a procurement assistant or similar role, you understand how to develop procurement practices. You have an economical or technical education and an analytical mindset. You can be finishing your studies as long as you can work full-time! In order to succeed in this role, you must have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Previous experience in a similar procurement role (e.g. Procurement coordinator / assistant)

  • Analytical mindset

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel)

  • Relevant education or finishing studies (Master’s degree)

  • Fluent in English and Danish

It is seen as an advantage if you speak Norwegian.

Working hours: Full-time

Employment period: 9 months

Location: 30 min from central Copenhagen
