Denmark has set an ambitious and radical goal - to upgrade the totality of its mainline network. (COMPANY NAME) is there to set their ambition to life and has started the implementation of the state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signalling technology, to the trackside and onboard the fleets. This technology is stable and secure, and it will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.

The Project Design Leader will be part of strong team that is looking for you to take big and exciting challenges. This position offers personal and professional growth linked to your transverse scope of responsibilities. You will report directly to On-Board Design Delivery Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities

The main target of the mission is managing installation design time and cost per train fleet.

You will be tracking the project deliverables towards the customer, be responsible for train scheduling creation, KPI development and manage field Installation feedback.

Further you will be managing customer relations in technical discussion and installation solution agreement. The target is to secure customer satisfaction along the installation journey.

Hence, the job is a balance between time at the office and time directly on site where you oversea the design installation with the site supervisor.

The role also covers

* Installation design risk assessment.

* Technical reviews (electrical and mechanical design reviews and procedure reviews).

* On field activities organization like agenda planning and survey preparation with stakeholders.

Skills and education

* Graduated in electrical or mechanical engineering or with a proven experience in the field.

* Experienced with Railway Signaling Systems (inside/outside) and Signaling Designs.

* Understanding of EHS regulation.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Well organized mindset.

* English is mandatory - Danish language is a big plus.

* Experienced, with min. of 3-5 years on railway.

* Project Management skills - Including scheduling.
