Project Manager - Global Quality

Will you take part in Arla Foods Ingredients' future structure and capability development? And are you ready to drive knowledge sharing and facilitate continuous improvements of a supply chain, representing production sites and partners worldwide? We are on the lookout for an analytical Project Manager for Global Quality (QEHS) at Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) in Aarhus. We are an independent company within the Arla Foods Group, with a strong growth strategy of becoming the true global leader in value-added whey products. To deliver on this, we focus strongly on our operations, business processes, new projects and on ensuring a high level of quality in everything we do. 

Identify, analyse and implement quality improvements

Your job will be to support the strategy of AFI and especially our Quality and Food Safety strategy all the way from analytical preliminary work and benchmarking over continuous improvements of business and quality processes to evaluation. You will investigate the real facts at our business to plan and lead quality  improvement initiatives across the production sites and administrative departments. You transform your preliminary analyses into business cases and boil down the data for use in internal and external presentations. Upon finalisation of the business cases you hand these over to the management for decision-making. Naturally, you make sure to document the improved processes as well as you identify training requirements and ensure the implementation of tools for this locally. You make sure that the projects operate in compliance with applicable law, corporate standards and policies. You will achieve success as you secure the implementation of quality improvement projects according to the agreed specifications, i.e. cost, time and quality.

Engineer with strong supply chain interest and business understanding

You are an educated engineer or similar with experience from a quality organisation, project management office, production site or a supply chain and hands-on project management preferably in the food or pharma industry.  You have experience in working with project management tools in both production sites and administrative processes. Your good analytical skills and business understanding make you capable of analysing and generating suggestions for improvements – and ensuring their implementation. You take a strong interest in working with the processes of a supply chain. You should also be comfortable navigating among multiple stakeholders and have a sense of urgency to secure timely and consistent communication to everyone involved in the projects. Last but not least, you must have a flexible attitude towards travelling approximately 10 days abroad plus travel to production sites in Denmark when needed.
