Project Manager, Sourcing Development & Analytics, Bagsværd

Pioneer a brighter future
At Novozymes, we work in close partnership with our customers and the global community to make a sustainable impact. We use science to advance industries, and as part of Research, Innovation & Supply, you will produce and deliver the biological solutions that boost our customers’ business and pave the way for a brighter future.

Project Manager, Sourcing Development & Analytics, Bagsværd
Are you motivated by structuring and executing strategic projects for Sourcing in new and uncertain areas? Are you able to work both cross functionally and globally, rethink the way we work and challenge the status quo? Would you like to be part of our digitalization journey, work with data in a new way and harvest the possibilities that analytics can deliver? If yes, then we might have the right position for you, as Novozymes is looking for a Project Manager to our newly established Sourcing Development & Analytics (SD&A) team.

The main purpose of the SD&A team is to provide project management across Sourcing and enable better insights through extended use of data and sourcing analytics. Currently, the team consists of 10 enthusiastic colleagues (seven based in India and three in Denmark). We are a part of Sourcing & Facility Management, organized under Research, Innovation & Supply.

In order to be successful in this position, you need to be very structured, analytically strong and skilled at managing complex projects, requiring interactions with a diverse group of stakeholders, both internal and external. It is important that you are motivated by working independently and dare to question our current ways of working.

Your main responsibilities in this position will be to:

  • Independently execute various Sourcing projects, including establish a new and cross-functional Supplier Performance Management platform for Novozymes
  • Drive various change management, training and communication efforts – acting proactively towards stakeholders across Novozymes and building solid relations in the organization
  • Be a key player in driving Sourcing’s sustainability agenda and engage in relevant network and knowledge building activities
  • Help shaping the digital journey across Sourcing, making sure that we get the most out of the data and technology already at hand, while “rethinking tomorrow”, making sure that we stay on top of current trends
  • Drive and coordinate Sourcing’s compliance documentation, internal quality documents and processes and facilitate audits

You will also support the improvement of sourcing concepts, processes and systems to enable Sourcing to reach the next level.

In this position you need to have:

  • Preferably 3+ years of relevant work experience. We expect you to hold a Master’s degree within Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or similar, but your background can also be from a completely different field.
  • A winning personality combined with solid business understanding, drive, dedication, self-motivation and positive can-do attitude are equally, if not more important, to be the right person for this position.
  • A strong analytical mindset and a structured way of working.
  • The ability to drive complex projects from planning to execution with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • A collaborate, curious mindset and a positive “can-do” attitude in a professional setting.
  • Solid communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

Are you the next Zymer in our team? Consider a career with Novozymes and let’s realize your potential together.
