Project Manager with passion for IT & Automation projects

The department
Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (DAPI) is the Novo Nordisk production area, where the backbone of our products is manufactured. In DAPI Kalundborg there is 3 production sites, and this project manager job is in one of the sites.
You will be a part of a Project Team with 10 other project managers, located in Purification Plant (PP) in the Business Support department. We drive the investment projects and handle the project portfolio across 7 departments. The team is a major player in design and implementation of capacity for new products, ensuring life circle management and optimizations that leads the future production in Novo Nordisk.

The job
As a project manager, you will be handling the IT/automation portfolio and drive projects of different sizes and scopes related both to optimization and life circle management of our processes and equipment. 
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Driving projects, supporting the project portfolio and secure the strategic alignment.
• Manage projects during the whole project life circle – including analyse, design, implementation and qualification
• Creating project plans with appropriate levels of detail and report project status to the management on boards and steering group meetings
• Providing timely and relevant updates on project status for all key stakeholders, reporting and adjusting for any deviations from your plans as you advance the projects.
• Provide clarity on responsibilities and expectations in your project-team and set the tone when it comes to feedback procedures, meeting structure and the routines of collaboration.
• Drive projects aiming to implement new technology and to optimize processes and systems

Your operational base will be in PP at our site in Kalundborg.

As an IT Project Manager, you have strong stakeholder managements skills and a proactive and optimistic attitude that makes people engaged in the project. You make solid plans, knows how to motivate your team members as difficult challenges arise, and furthermore you show the way by having a can-do attitude. 
You are pragmatic in your approach - while prioritising to stay within scope and budget. We also count on your creativity in getting the most out of the resources and opportunities at hand.

You proactively prevent problems before they emerge - your strong analytical mind allows you to think several steps ahead and anticipate any issues that might challenge the advancement of the project.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
• An engineering degree within IT, automation, production systems, pharmaceutic technology or similar
• At least 3-5 years of experience in working with production and you have solid experience as project manager
• It is advantage if you have worked in a regulated and automated production environment and preferred experience with PCS, MES, BMS, SGS or PLC
• Broad knowledge to comprehend and drive projects of high complexity with many stakeholders from different areas of expertise
• Familiarity with project management models and you know your way around process optimization and have a profound understanding of Process Performance Qualification and Lean
• Fluent English and communicative Danish skills
• Strong communication skills and your empathic approach to people make it easy for you to build and maintain trustful relations – both within your department and to all the stakeholders you will be working with.
• Full proficiency in English and Danish is required for this position.
