Psychologist (or experienced Human Factor Consultant)

Working in Maersk Training you will join a fast moving, global company within training and development.

As part of our People Skills department you will design, deliver and evaluate training and consultancy programmes within leadership and organizational development, leadership assessment, human factor and safety training. We have a strong focus on delivering high end quality programmes in a high pace learning atmosphere. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Training and assessment of human factors, individual/team performance related behaviour
  • Conducting crew resource management courses with focus on human factors
  • Experience with operational leadership assessment in the maritime or offshore industry.
  • Psychological and operational assessments of leaders in the maritime or offshore domain, and preparing of personal development plans.
  • Clinical experience is not a must, but an understanding of abnormal personalities and behaviour and how to assess it is essential.
  • Development of training programs and consulting processes in close cooperation with client organizations. 

We are looking for 

We are looking for a Psychologist or Human Factor Consultant with business experience on behavioural assessments and development processes in general. The right candidate could hold a bachelor or master degree in psychology or equivalent. Practical experience in this field of work is essential. You are a strong facilitator with good people skills and ability to focus on both content and process. Good English skills both verbally and in writing is a must. 


  • are a Psychologist or Human Factor Consultant with desire to work with people, teams, performance assessment & development
  • have experience with assessments, typology and behavioural markers
  • ideally have experience with human factors and crew resource management
  • are a strong facilitator (individuals/groups)
  • are trustworthy and reliable
  • are able to create strong relations on all levels of an organization
  • are able to travel globally and work independently as well as contribute as a team member 

Maersk Training is situated in Svendborg, but you will deliver globally onshore as well as offshore. Your residence is probably in Denmark but not necessarily in Svendborg as you must expect some travel globally.
