Join us and become Structural Engineer in our Structural Engineering department where, together with the Secondary Structures team, you’ll design structural components for monopile and jacket foundations for offshore wind turbines from the conceptual phase to detailed design and installed design, including as-built documentation. The team is also constantly improving on methods, tools and best practices for the design of secondary structures such as boat landings, platforms, anode support structures and ladders. The department is part of Offshore, which is one of our company’s three business units.

 

Your key tasks will be to

  • design, calculate and document structural components
  • contribute to the development of best practices, calculation methods and calculation tools
  • work with CAD technicians and help them create and develop drawings and 3D models
  • implement lessons learned and new solutions
  • inspect your own design work at production sites and offshore installation sites (optional).

 

Your main area of work is the design of the essential secondary components of the foundation structure, including its subcomponents, in compliance with state-of-the-art knowledge, norms and standards using both in-house calculation tools and commercial software.
