QA Engineer

Are you ready to use your quality mindset to develop superior devices? To improve the lives of our users all over the world? Are you able to drive our supplier control process. Are you eager to improve the way we work by facilitating deviation handling and driving process improvements? Then perhaps you’re our new QA Engineer in Device R&D.

 

 

The position

 

  • You are responsible for the purchasing control process in Device R&D, monitoring that our suppliers are qualified and that their services comply to our specifications.
  • You are responsible for facilitating deviation handling across Device R&D, ensuring that deviations are dealt with effectively and with a consistently high level of quality.
  • You drive quality and process improvement projects, making sure that our quality processes are simple and effective.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, pharmaceutical, science (e.g. microbiology or biochemistry), or other relevant academic fields.
  • A few years of experience (e.g. as QA or systems engineer) within the pharmaceutical or other regulated industry or a fresh graduate with a process mindset, drive, and a keen interest for quality in a regulated industry.
  • Experience with 21 CFR 820, MDR, or ISO13485 is an advantage.
  • Ability to constructively engaging your stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive quality improvement projects.

 

 

About the department

 

Device R&D Quality is responsible for covering all quality aspects in the Device R&D portfolio of mechanical devices, devices with embedded electronics and software, and Software as a Medical Device, as well as Quality Management System activities, quality oversight of our suppliers, and hosting audits and inspections.

 

We are an international team of 18 passionate Quality Assurance experts with diverse backgrounds of which 16 are based in Hillerød, Denmark – and 2 in a Device R&D satellite in Seattle, USA.
