Job-Link is looking for a qualified Purchaser for our customer in Kalundborg or Virum

In the job as purchaser you will work in a highly dynamic, project driven work environment where you work closely together with Procurement Managers, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Suppliers and Customers every day.

Who we are:

Our customer is a pharma engineering company. They execute projects ranging from small development equipment projects, revamp of existing production facilities to large-scale pharmaceutical production plants all over the world. Based in Denmark, you will work in a project-oriented climate supporting primarily projects for our customers in Denmark. In Denmark, our customer has offices in Virum and Kalundborg. Typically, you will be working in the same location as your customer(s) and/or project(s). Therefore, it is very important, that you are flexible.

You will join our Procurement & Contract Mgt. dept., consisting of a team of 15 highly skilled Senior Procurement Managers, Procurement Managers, Procurement Controllers and Purchasers. We engage and interact with a variety of stakeholders. Regardless of which of these many stakeholders we face, our ambition is to take a wingman position; providing our stakeholders support in a manner allowing them a feeling of control and support. This requires a proactive mindset, as well as a high level of flexibility.

Primary duties and respnsibiliies:

As Purchaser you will participate in planning, organizing and executing purchasing activities in larger projects or a range of smaller projects in our portfolios, in close collaboration with our Procurement Managers and Project Managers. Your main tasks will be related to drafting and administrating Purchase Orders and Contracts and our Customers’ ERP systems and other closely related tools and systems, while ensuring a commercial mindset.

You will also be responsible for the negotiation of smaller contracts, purchase orders and change orders in close cooperation with our Procurement Managers. Lastly, you will also be supporting our Procurement Managers, Project Managers and Customers in post-contract-award activities, such as follow-up on deliveries, milestones & progress, change- & claims management, payment and invoice administration and reporting.

Your Qulifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience within technical purchasing
  • Preferably, you have worked with procurement within the field of engineering
  • Experience with working in a project organization and in a project environment
  • Commercial mindset, along with negotiation and stakeholder mgt. skills
  • Good understanding of – and the ability to work in – IT tools & systems
  • Structured approach, as well as a flexible mindset
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both Danish and English

There is both possibility for a permanent position from start or a temporary position for 12 months (with contract for 2x6 months) - and if you do the job well and the company has an open headcount - it will most likely end up in a permanent position.

Our customer works with consultancy, development, implementation and validation of Automation Solutions for the Pharma and Biotech Industries. The company works in projects and base their solutions on a deep understanding of the customers’ production processes – and if standard components can’t do the job, they develop their own. Our customer master a broad range of process areas within API production e.g. Fermentation, Recovery and Purification, Utility and Cleaning Systems.
