R&D engineer with focus on CFD!

About the role

On behalf of Multi-Wing, Academic Work is currently looking for an R&D engineer with focus on CFD to become their next team-member in Copenhagen. Multi-Wing has developed from a small Danish company into a global industry leader within 60 years. They are specialized in creating tomorrow’s custom axial fan and is constantly working on their mission to create the next global trends of custom axial fans every day!

As an R&D engineer at Multi Wing you will become the leading specialist on CFD analysis. Your work and expertise will be crucial in the creation of a unique product where quality is paramount. An eye for detail and a passion for the dynamics of wind will make you an essential go-to expert in all multi-wings design processes. Job duties

  • Design and develop impellers for industrial engine cooling – prototypes and series production
  • Predict impeller performance and efficiency by means of CFD
  • Specify, request physical tests in the windtunnel, analyze the results
  • Optimize blade and hub design using CFD and optimization
  • Technical support to warranty engineer, primarily for performance/efficiency-related topics

It's a requirement that you have:

  • Educational background in Fluid Mechanics
  • Knowledge of CFD simulation, ideally with Star-CCM+
  • It will be considered an advantage if you have experience with design optimization

As a person, you are:
