  • The Role: Xylem is looking for an experienced R&D Manager for the MJK brand. MJK primarily develops and manufacture electromagnetic flowmeters, ultra-sonic level meters, hydrostatic level meters, but have also other niche products like pH-sensors, RTU’s and data loggers.

    As an R&D Manager, you will lead the MJK R&D team to continue the development of our products within flow and level. The MJK R&D team is a part of a global cross-functional R&D organisation cooperating to supply our customers with the right solutions.

    You will be working closely with Product Management to make sure we supply the marked with the right products.

    You will be a part of a local engineering team of eight engineers located in Birkeroed, Denmark.

    Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead the MJK R&D team in a global organisation
  • Follow and improve the product development processes, procedures and tools
  • End-to-end responsibility of product develop from specification to production
  • Ensure coordination with stakeholders like PM, purchasing, manufacturing and support, as well as customers, partners and service providers.
  • Project Management of key projects
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
  • Education/Experience:

  • B.Sc.EE or M.Sc.EE in electronics
  • Significant experience within electronic product development
  • Experience with people management
  • Extensive experience in embedded FW development
  • Extensive experience with real time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UARTS, HART, ModBus etc.
  • Experience with HW development
  • Product approval
  • Process automation is a plus
  • Reporting and documentation
  • Fluent in English, both in writing and verbal
