The Job

For our Offshore Technology department in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead our Offshore Hydrogen product development project. The combination of renewable energy and Hydrogen production is a key enabler for a successful green transition reducing the CO2 footprint globally. In this job you will get the opportunity to join an international team of frontrunners developing, building, testing and implementing Hydrogen solutions for our Offshore Wind turbines with the ability to produce green hydrogen offshore.

As project manager you will lead and engage with workstream leads and key specialists within cross functional domains. In your daily work you will be part of a core program management team that has the overall responsibility delivering our first generation of decentralized Offshore Hydrogen systems based on our leading technologies. The position is a key for retaining SGRE's global market leader position within Offshore Technology.

How to contribute to our vision

You will lead the product development project involving domains and key stakeholders across the business, with full project responsibility in terms of time, cost and quality delivered - from scoping phase until project closure.
You execute with an agile mindset and in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Technology processes and tools, having attention to all aspects together with your team and key stakeholders.

Overseeing the entire project, and covering all project management disciplines, you lead the execution of the project deliveries. You are a strong communicator and get motivated by navigating in an international environment across multiple cultures. You can plan and execute while having attention to your critical path and managing the risks in your project from start to end.
As an experienced PM, you improve ways of working together with your project team, as well as together with the rest of the organization.

We operate in an organization with a network of agile teams and strive to further develop our organization and ability towards this type of organization and culture. It is an advantage if you have insight or experience with agile principles, and that you are interested in further developing yourself and our organization on these parameters.

You are a team player and a natural networker with the ability to build-up and maintain strong relations to all relevant stakeholders across the business.
It is natural for you to keep a holistic overview of your project, without missing out on the important details and the people involved. You have an eye on your risk management register and have mitigation plans ready in case you need them.

You have a structured approach to your assignments and can handle project scope changes occurring in a dynamic R&D environment to the full satisfaction of your stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you:

Preferably have a background or experience within project management of technical projects
Preferably have a degree in engineering combined with several years of experience of project management, preferable within product development / R&D / Engineering. (2-5 years of experience ideally)
Have experience with project management of complex projects with multiple stakeholders and suppliers.
You should be able to manage the project in terms of scope, resources and timeline.
Have experience working and navigating in a physical prototype and test environment with focus on building large prototype installations.
Possess strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
Any Project Management certification (for example IPMA B/C, PMP) and a relevant project track Record are important advantages.
