What does the role involve?

At Hilti, our Energy & Industry commitment is to deliver sustainability with the aim to reduce total cost of ownership for facility owners, EPCs, contractors and OEMs across Natural Resources, Power and Industry business segments. We work across the project lifecycle and build a customized value proposition on engineering, logistic services, special product solutions, site support and price agreements to go hand in hand with the customer’s specific requirements.

As a Business Developer looking after our Original Equipment manufacturer customers, you are responsible for building and developing relationships with large key customers to become their trusted partner and integrate into their process flow. You will get to understand their business needs, provide them with some of our most technical and multi-disciplinary innovative and differentiated solutions that create value to both customers and Hilti. You will be responsible for leading account development plans, managing various senior and international stakeholders and owning pipeline of high value sales opportunities across Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

We work with a direct sales approach, focusing on providing professional advice to our customers. As part of your onboarding program, you will attend three weeks of training in Hilti’s solutions at our Regional Training Centre in Manchester, either physically or digitally depending on the current COVID situation.

At the same time, you get the freedom to influence and plan your workday, and you become part of a highly competent team that has a clear drive to win together. Further, you will have daily interactions with your team leader, who will be providing you with ongoing coaching and feedback, to help further your personal development.
As part of the job, you will receive a company car, so it is requirement that you have a driver’s license.

What you need is:

  • Engineering degree desirable, and/or Technical background (understanding of statics and dynamics is preferred)
  • More than 4 years of experience in relevant role or Industry
  • High level of executive communication and influencing skills required
  • Self-starter, who can work autonomously or within a team
  • Mature, assertive attitude and committed to your career development with good communication skills
  • Resilience and goal orientated, with the ability to overcome barriers
  • A full, clean, manual driving license
  • Fluent in English
