Regional HR Director - Asia-Pacific

On Behalf of our client, a leading European Tech company, we are looking for a Regional HR Director to lead their South Asia portfolio. Their operations have expanded exponentially in Asia, and hence, there is a need to hire a high caliber HR Director. Location: Singapore.

About the HR Director, South Asia Role

Reporting to the Regional President, the HR Director will be responsible for the overall management of human resources, systems, and practices in South Asia. 4 units. Matrix connection to Global Human Resources in Luxembourg.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders by providing insightful counsel as well as hands-on assistance when necessary;
  • Involved in the integration projects of acquired firms in the region;
  • Work closely with countries and business unit to ensure smooth integration and harmonization of policies, systems, and talent management program to ensure that the relevant structure is put in place to support the immediate and long-term business objectives;
  • To succeed in the Regional HR Director, South Asia role, you must have a strong business partnering experience on a regional level and the experience in running Tech companies.

Requirements

  • 12+ years Human Resources experience in a fast moving, multinational environment with strong Asia-Pacific exposure on senior management level;
  • 6+ years of knowledge from regional South Asia is a requirement;
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills to work effectively with top management team in the region and headquarters in Luxembourg;
  • Team-player who is independent, task-oriented and proactive in driving process/systems improvements;
  • Strong communication, change management, and coaching skills;
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.

The role as Regional HR Director will be negotiated in the area of USD 200.000-210.000. 12-month salary, + 2-month bonus, we offer you a condominium and a car. Expatriate position.
