We offer

As Regional Learning & Organisational Development Partner, you will join our Learning & Organisational Development team, which is a critical part of the Maersk Human Resources organisation, based in Maersk Headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

One of the key priorities of Maersk HR is to help enable the transformation of Maersk and to deliver the company strategy to become the global integrator of container logistics. To get there we focus on building an engaged workplace with high performing teams and an environment that fosters a learning mindset across the organisation. We also see it as a key focus to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify current and future needs, and design effective HR solutions that enable us to deliver business results and win as a team.

You will report to the Head of Deployment based in Copenhagen and be part of a strong regional HR set up on a day to day basis. You will have an incredible opportunity to stretch your capabilities and toolbox by learning from, sparring with and building lasting relationships with diverse and professional colleagues, based in Headquarters and globally.

You will be a valued member of the Learning & Organisational Development team and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a range of stakeholders and colleagues across our global organisation. You will have a unique opportunity to provide support across our brands, including APM Terminals, Damco, Maersk Liner Business, MCI and Svitzer.

The position is based in one of our offices in Panama, Charlotte or New Jersey with significant travel across the region and to the HQ in Copenhagen.

Key responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the following, amongst others, for the specified geographical region:

• Be able to deploy the Learning & Organisational Development team vision and strategy in an engaging and mo-tivating way.

• Build relationships with key stakeholders in the business to ensure L and OD requirements are discussed and de-livered in a timely manner for the business teams.

• Spar actively with team members and collaborate across Learning & Organisational Development to shape and refine a differentiated value proposition for each initiative, project and programme, in particular ensuring to translate the same into an integrated portfolio that will resonate with -- the business teams across all brands.

• Ask the right questions to understand the needs of the receiving audience, including the HR community, and en-sure that the Learning & Organisational Development portfolio can be cascaded and deployed across brands in an efficient and effective way, -whilst being creative, refreshing and engaging in the deployment.

• Drive clear measurement, value realisation and optimisation of deployment, continuously monitoring progress and tracking benefit realisation and delivery of intended results. Proactively pull and evaluate input from the or-ganisation and stakeholders to achieve end-to-end benefits and optimisation.

• Manage resource requirements, taking into account synergies and opportunities across the team, other COEs and the global community.

• Define and develop frameworks, methodologies and standards, and create/maintain knowledge repositories. 

• Keep up to date on relevant trends and innovations, to continue to push how we deploy learning solutions.

• Support coaching and development of team members and peers to grow talent for Maersk.

You have proven experience with the following:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with HR Business Partnering (preferred), Learning & Organisational Development, and/or consultancy.

• A true team player, with a high curiosity in and quick grasp of the unique value drivers of initiatives, projects and programmes across Learning & Organisational Development, and ability to enable the Deployment team to collaborate closely and showcase the same 

• Strong relationship builder with the business, with the ability to demonstrate the performance benefits of learning strategies

• Extraordinary structure, with ability to have an overview and overall strategy for deployment across a wide variety of initiatives and programmes, brands and geographies

• A high drive, taking ownership and accountability and with a proven track record of making quality deliverables – on time, within budget and with clear business impact

• An innovative mind-set, adept at identifying and seizing opportunities and synergies, and deploying solutions in continuously creative, refreshing ways that resonate with and engage audiences

• A strong team player, able to motivate and inspire others to deliver results through teamwork and collaboration

• A passion for learning, development and coaching, and being inspired by supporting others to achieve personal growth and high performance
