Regional Sales Manager Precision Livestock Farming, EAME
Poland, Denmark, Italy or France
We are currently looking for Regional Sales Manager Precision Livestock Farming based in EME, under the responsibility of the Regional GM (building and commercial Egg business units), for one of our for locations: Poland, Denmark, Italy or France.
The first function of this new position is to develop the business and sales of all new Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) products launched from our new center of Excellence of PLF applications in Barcelona. It will be also to develop new sales channels out of Agco's traditional one in the PLF sector and also new sales models (subscriptions) and services.
This role will be responsible of :
- Market introduction in EME to our internal sales resp and our dealers.
- Training and awareness to all indentified Farmers and integrators.
- Coordination and successful implementation of all sales and marketing activities within the region of responsibility.
- New PLF partnerships to support our sales and new Smart Services.
- New technologies introduction and trainings by our internal sales, dealers and clients.
- Measure and improve distributor performance by actively formulating business plans and strategies.
- Set and achieve sales budgets for the region.
- Analyse and report accurately competitor market intelligence.
- Manage, motivate and train dealers and their sales staff to ensure a profitable business model is achieved.
- Provide the interface between the AGCO, its dealers and the end-user for all new PLF products and applications.
What You Will Do:
Regional Action Plans - Must create, maintain and coordinate Regional Action Plans for their assigned region on a quarterly basis. RAP’s will guide and direct all sales and marketing activities within their region. Sales Forecasts - As part of the Regional Action Plan, ASM’s in conjunction with his responsible must generate, maintain and review sales and dealer forecasts in line with corporate requirements. To be set annually and reviewed quarterly with each of the dealers, implementing business plan and sales strategies to ensure targets are achieved. Sales Volume and Market Share - Must achieve or exceed the overall planned sales and market share forecasts for the assigned region of responsibility for all products on an annual and quarterly basis. Market Intelligence and pricing - Source up to-date and current competitive pricing for all competitors within the region of responsibility. Actively engage with the Regional Sales Manager and Marketing group to ensure that the pricing, discount and specification requirements for the region are achieved and a competitive position for all AGCO products is maintained. Inventory Management and Forecasting -Ensure correct and accurate management and reporting of all pending retail orders and installations as required. Manage consignment stock requirements within the region with specific emphasis via the forecast on correct consignment stock placement and the ongoing maintenance of this stock ensuring it is maintained on premises and to the standard set out in the consignment stock agreement. Technical Support (non-service - Provide technical (non-service) advice to the distribution group and customers within the region of responsibility. Product and Systems Training - Oversee and implement all sales training requirements for dealers and their employees at a local level within the region of responsibility ensuring a satisfactory minimum level of product knowledge and sales systems use is maintained by current distribution staff. Advertising and Sales Promotions - Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Communications. Dealer / Customer Promotions - Oversee all sales activities related to field days, customer events and dealer promotions for the region of responsibility. Distribution Development - Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Distribution Development Manager the ASM must ensure that all distribution points within the region of responsibility confirm to current dealer standards. Implementing actions plans when required to ensure this is achieved. Leadership - Manage, develop and maintain Regional Action Plan requirements for the successful implementation of all regional advertising requirements in line with budget and resource expectations. What You Will Bring:
Master II or equivalent in Business school 5+ years of the business experience in agricultural sales or agricultural business development Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) domain understanding, Climate control, livestock understanding :Poultry-Swine-Egg Agricultural equipement sales or agricultural business development background Aligning and Executing Sales Strategies Communication, presentation , excelling in Office presentation, Word and Excel. Delegation and Empowerment Driving Successful Customer Engagements Making Sales Operations Decisions; Business fluency in English (both written and spoken) Driving licence A Plus If You Have:
