Regulatory Affairs Consultant - Aarhus

Are you a regulatory affairs professional, with the skills to work on a global agenda? Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) is a subsidiary of Arla Foods and right now we are growing our regulatory affairs team to deliver against our ambitious plans and are recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Consultant at our headquarters in Aarhus.

You drive regulatory activities for Arla Foods Ingredients, globally

Your overall objective is to support different business units in AFI on strategic and legal requirements. This covers areas such as Product Management, TPM, Quality Assurance, R&D, Sales and Supply Chain in order to secure AFI has the right knowledge with a proactive approach to regulatory affairs.

Reporting to the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs, your area of responsibility will be within food regulatory affairs with emphasis on quality assurance, new product development, product standards and regulatory support to current submissions for product marketing. Further, you will also participate in internal and external networks in order to developing and maintaining knowledge, and influence legislation where possible. You will drive regulatory projects as the project manager, to make sure AFI has the right approvals for entering new markets and securing market access.

The work will also involve interpretations on production standards, infant formula regulation, microbiology and contaminants, since we also are involved in regulations relating to the dairy/factories.

You should be able to deal with issues in relation to the interpretation of current legislation on food and products standards. Main markets of interest where we interpret legislation is EU, US and China.

Background within Regulatory, Food or QEHS

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, independent and detail-oriented regulatory professional with 2-6 years experience in food regulatory, food technology or related areas. You have a master or PhD degree within Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Science, Human Nutrition or similar, or you have a background with experience in a quality department and wants to work more in depth with legislation and regulatory affairs. Either way, you have a passion for, and a thorough understanding of dairy and/or food with a passion for learning more about our whey protein based products.

You have solid business understanding, a global mindset and the capabilities to take the regulatory agenda to the next level. And you know that clear and concise communication is an important key to success. This puts heavy demands on your structured and meticulous working methods and text flair.

Moreover, you know that the best results are obtained through sound and positive collaboration with others. You are fluent in English, both in speak and writing and will be expected to engage with internal and external stakeholders around the world.
