Reliability Engineer for medical device development.

Phillips Medisize is looking for a skilled Reliability Engineer for Global Innovation Development EU in Struer, Denmark. If you have a passionate interest in creating unique products for people who need medical treatment and want to be part of a project organization, you might be the one we are looking for.

About the position

As Reliability Engineer you are responsible for the reliability process to ensure that our products are safe and dependable.You will gain a technical insight and comprehension of the product, the user and the use of the product to support your contribution to, among others, human centered design, requirements breakdown, statistical prediction, design and system test and verification.The position requires both internal and external cross functional cooperation and communication. You will experience both work at high level, like planning, and thorough studies of standards.

What we are looking for in you:

Professional qualifications

Master or Bachelor degree in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electronic Engineering or similar qualifications. More than 3 years experience as an Reliability Engineer. You also have

  • Experience with statistical calculations, reliability modelling, prediction and Six Sigma methodology.
  • Knowledge of stress factors, robust design and component aging.
  • Experience in creating and efficiently execute and documenting a verification plan.
  • The ability to perform Root-Cause Failure Analysis.
  • Experience from the medical industry, is an advantage.

Personal qualifications

You are analytical and theoretical well-grounded. You have a systematic approach to your work and you deliver well-structured results. You love to use your skills solving complex problems and you  understand the importance of high quality and documentation.You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
