Are you motivated by development projects where your focus will be to develop methods for testing robustness and durability through all phases of product development on all product levels? (Special focus on HALT test methodology)? And does it motivate you even more to learn that much development work is carried out in close cross-functional cooperation with other colleagues, for example R&D?
The position of Reliability Test Engineer at Danfoss Power Electronics in Graasten will be ideal for you if you are the type of person who considers the world to be your test lab and who strongly believes that testing will benefit the design organisation.
 
100% focus on test development and implementation
You will become involved in development projects from the very early stages. Your key areas of responsibility and tasks will include:
 

  • Development and implementation of
    • reliability test methodology for testing robustness and durability during all phases of product development on all product levels with special focus on HALT test methodology
    • other reliability testing such as mechanical, temperature & humidity and electrical
  • Analysis of concepts and designs to deliver guidance and support to the design organisation on test methods (test specification and test execution)
  • Development of test methods in cooperation with colleagues in R&D, including
    • specialised tests / measurements / equipment / fixturing to conduct powered robustness or life testing
    • targeted stress testing of selected failure modes to accelerate those failure modes
  • Participation in FMEA workshops and design reviews

 
Your ability to develop and implement reliability tests that help designers optimise their design in relation to robustness, durability, cost and performance will be the key to success.
 
Technician or engineer with specific and relevant experience
You have experience from working as an engineer or a technician. You can document several years of experience within reliability testing of electronics, specifically applying HALT and life test methodology. Furthermore, you have worked intensively with failure analysis and has basic knowledge of statistical tools and concepts.
Working in cross-functional teams comes naturally to you, and you are considered a positive and supporting resource. You also have strong written and verbal communication skills, which ensures that the results of your work are easily disseminated and understood throughout the organisation.
