Job Responsibilities

Your main task will be, through direct customer contact or via teleconference, to promote and support electronic solutions based on Danfoss Power Solutions CCS product portfolio:

  • Establish account strategies, product platform plans and profitability targets.
  • Execute strategies and focusing on agreed target accounts in your assigned region.
  • Support and provide input on technical data needed to provide optimal customer proposals.
  • Support product managers in launching products in the European regions.
  • Provide input to product managers on price levels, product qualifiers, value propositions.
  • Recommend price optimization on existing business. 
  • Regularly track progress with account managers and finalize on the opportunities in the assigned region.
  • Provide support to sales & marketing in the assigned region, customer visits, support value selling etc. 
  • Strengthen and preserve the Danfoss core competency APPLICATION know-how to achieve a “unique customer experience”.
  • Communicate the voice of our customers by sharing current and future technical mobile market needs with the EU team members and other stakeholders.
  • Background & Skills

    We expect that you:

  • Have a successfully completed BSc degree in Business Entrepreneurship or mechanical/electrical engineering with commercial training.
  • Have knowledge and experience in electronics of mobile off-road applications (this will be an advantage).
  • Have a huge personal drive, are self-driven and proactive.
  • Are flexible, open minded, confident, outgoing and a great team player in a virtual team.
  • Capable to work from home office, preferred location Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark. 
  • Have proven English skills, in writing and verbally. French or German writing and verbally is considered as a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 40% of the time.

    You have proven excellent interpersonal skills and a keen and natural ability to work effortlessly with customers and colleagues. As this position have a wide scope of stakeholders across the global business, excellent communication skills in combination with a global mindset is important to understand, interact and challenge stakeholders across all levels in the organisation. To support this approach, you consider yourself to be proactive, motivated, and self-driven.
    You actively work to engage with people, being “visible” in the organisation. You have the ability and knowledge to lead, with no direct reports. This enables you to spearhead the process with customers, setting the direction and getting the job done using your exceptional interpersonal skills and knowledge.

    You have good time management skills to organize and plan effectively with ability to balance a multitude of tasks at simultaneously. Having many assignments at once, requires an energetic mindset, because you at times will have to initiate compromises between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests. If you have experience in distribution market and or remote controls this would be an advantage. Please be aware that this specific position has no people responsibility!
