Sales Development Representative, Munich, Germany

Keepit is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Sales Team in Munich, Germany.

We’re growing fast as a company, and we are set on using our momentum to bring our SaaS cloud-based backup services to a global audience – and now we’re expanding to the German market. We are looking for a full-time Sales Development Representative who is willing to share best practices with others and strives to grow in every aspect of the job.

As our new Sales Development Representative, you will be reaching out to customers targeting the German market. As such, you will be the first contact between Keepit and the businesses of the world, and you will play a vital part in securing our customer’s data. 

As a Keeper, you will:

  • Join a rapidly growing scale-up on a critical mission to secure the data of the world.
  • Become a part of our competent, energetic, and dynamic sales team.
  • Take part in a stimulating, ambitious, and diverse work environment with a career ladder into the world of sales and tech.
  • Take part in establishing our new office in München and help us nurture a winning team and culture.
  • Get individually tailored training, coaching, and mentoring by team leads and sales coaches.
  • Visit our office in Copenhagen for a few weeks as the first part of your employment and onboarding.

The SDR key challenges:

  • Take on social media and email marketing to generate product awareness and sales opportunities.
  • Contact potential prospects over the phone for the Account Executive you are working with.
  • Book qualified sales meetings between key client decision-makers and members of our account executive team.
  • Work in a structured manner, using our CRM system Salesforce and different sales enablement tools.

You will be reporting to one of the team leads and the SDR manager, Nikola, who is head of the expanding SDR department. You will work from our office in Munich and be one of the first members of our new department in that region.

2.   Phone Sales – qualifying an opportunity:  The ideal candidate excels in asking the strategic questions that uncover the pains and needs of the customer and bring awareness to the need for cloud backup. You must be able to work your way around the many stakeholders of organizations and be able to ask the right questions at the right time, to identify the right people for us to connect with.

3.   Collaboration around sales: We win as a team. You must be very self-driven but also able to collaborate closely with your colleagues, team leader, and manager around the everyday tasks. You can receive and integrate feedback of different kinds and you can help your colleagues when needed.

4.    English & German language and culture-specific communication: We use English as our company language, and being fluent in English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role. As you will also be working with the German market, being fluent in German is necessary for the position.

5.   Entrepreneurial spirit: We are passionate about winning in the market. However, we are also passionate about our workplace, and we know that a good work environment and great collaboration across our organization are crucial to achieving our ambitious goals.
