FLSmidth is looking for students with strong “LEGO” minds to be part of developing modularization/product configurations which support configure to order and faster delivery of our machinery to heavy industries. 

You will help us maintain and expand our position as a world-leading supplier to the cement industry.

 

Your assignment

The team you will join is dedicated to the implementation of tools and processes in the cement industry in a very international environment. 

You will be part of:

  • Identifying improvements and suggestions on how to configure our products.
  • Gathering specialists' knowledge and implementing it in programs and 3D models.
  • Investigating how to sue machine learning to digitalize the deep engineering knowledge sitting around the organization.
  • Structuring and evaluating products, working methods, ideas and use of software.
    This will require collaboration skills, creative thinking, and understanding the business implications of new technologies.

The focus will be on development and deployment. 

The position is 10-20 hours a week – of course with due consideration to your time schedule, plans and exams.

 

Who are we looking for?

You have a passion for modularization and mathematical methods.

You are preferably taking a degree within mechanical engineering. Knowledge on product configuration is a plus.

You have a curious and "LEGO"-style mind, like interacting with people and take on challenges with a positive attitude. 

We expect you to be flexible, eager to learn and able to adapt to a corporate environment. Please note that our corporate language is English, so proficiency in this language is a must.
