Sales Director for leading logistics systems supplier

Travelling worldwide up to 80 days a year, you assume the overall responsibility for our sales activities in approximately half of the world, including areas as Scandinavia, South West Europe, Benelux, United Kingdom and major parts of Asia Pacific.

Make a global impact
You join our Logistics division in Aarhus to help deliver complete and complex sortation systems for many global customers that handle, sort and distribute goods. Customers include Nike, Bestseller, FedEx and DHL.

As part of our professional and high-performing international sales organisation, you will have every chance to make an impact, and will join a team of supportive colleagues, who collaborate thoroughly to strengthen our offer and create a stable global order intake.

Empower our sales activities
On a day-to-day basis, your job is to enable sales colleagues in our global matrix organisation to be successful. You lead two international sales managers, who are responsible for the Nordic countries, and you will also set the direction for all sales managers in our sister companies.

Thus, you use your travel days to coach and support sales colleagues globally. You take active part in the sales process by prioritising and meeting current and potential customers, discussing their needs and presenting our solutions as well as medium to large scale projects of € 1-100m. All in all, you:

  • Ensure that the budget of our order intake are kept
  • Improve the worldwide sales and the group companies’ performances
  • Work out the global Sales Strategy
  • Are responsible for ensuring that the sales processes are aligned worldwide
  • Deliver a real-time updated international pipeline
  • Do cross-cultural distance management in a matrix organisation

Experience with international sales and distance management
Great collaboration skills, a strategic mind-set and a strong drive to achieve your goals; these are the traits that will help you and your international sales colleagues succeed. You enjoy dividing your time between management and hands-on sales as well as a combination of technical and commercial understanding. Moreover, you have:

  • +5 years of experience managing international sales, preparing tenders and negotiating contracts
  • +5 years of sales experience with similar turnkey solutions – any experience within logistics is a plus 
  • Experience from a similar international company
  • An ability to identify and act on trends
