This is your chance to be part of the success story: we are looking for an Account Executive to join our Danish commercial team. Position Overview The primary responsibility of an Sales Director in Cognizant’s is to sell Cognizant’s services to Companies which are currently not Cognizant’s customer. You will be assigned target prospects that may be one or more industry segments and you are expected to leverage your past experience and network as well as Cognizant’s marketing support to develop pursuit plan, set-up executive meetings, position Cognizant favorably to be invited in tendering process for relevant services. If you are excited and motivated by creating network, building relationships then this is the right position. Based on the technical and domain know-how the position also offers opportunities to represent Cognizant in various leading industry and technology forums. It also gives an opportunity to build relationship that can help to build network and win new business for Cognizant. Cognizant has a vast partner ecosystem and has strategic partnerships with leading technology companies like Microsoft, SAP, AWS, Google, Salesforce, among others and you will have opportunities to develop joint go-to-market strategy with these partners for your target prospects to increase win chances. Cognizant has an attractive compensation plan for Sales Director's that is based on %-age of annual revenue generated from closure of new business. You also have a chance to further enhance your earnings by closing large TCV (Total Contract Value) deals. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Sales of Cognizant services across industry verticals in Denmark and take direct responsibility and accountability for the entire process of contact identification to contract signing, in coordination and cooperation with Cognizant local and global structure
  • You are expected to develop key insights into prospective client’s organization structure, business and IT strategy
  • Understand the customer’s specific business needs and applying service/ process knowledge to meet those needs, additionally, to identify strategic initiatives that help client’s business to achieve their goals. Communicate the bring the value in solving business problems
  • Drive to generate revenues from new and emerging business work jointly with Cognizant local Client Partner(s) to grow the pipeline of opportunities
  • Active involvement in deal reviews, developing solution, proposal responses, creating executive summary for the proposal and ensure timely submission with appropriate internal approvals.
  • Work closely with different teams in Cognizant to create winnable value proposition in order to win new business
  • To build and manage relationships across various levels in the client organization, particularly in the C- Level/ Executive Management Level and create a stakeholder map to position Cognizant team and senior management
  • To ensure you achieve the quarterly and annual targets, across the mix of all of Cognizant’s business to include the professional services and consulting lines of business
  • Develop in-depth understanding of our services and related solutions
  • Liaise closely with the Cognizant delivery team(s), to provide pre and post-sales support and assistance to customers as required
  • Keep up to date with new supplier products and releases. Develop and manage excellent working partnerships with individual supplier Sales People (e.g. Microsoft, SAP, SalesForce…)
