Because in all modesty, that’s why we’re here ABOUT THE ROLEAs Sales Manager in Onomondo, you’ll be given your own SaaS sales team, a blank Sales Playbook and expectations to create a sales process, team, culture – and results – that will resonate throughout the SaaS/start-up industry. On your side is trust, sparring and flexibility from a highly capable, empathetic and ambitious management team and around us is an equally capable board following your progress and results.This position is for the extremely career-oriented person that’s eager to unleash her/his absolute potential in a no-constraints scale-up venture that will skyrocket anyone with talent and track record into a league that’s for the few to wander.You will lead a team of six to begin with and this team is currently being searched for - like you. Preferably, you want to get your hands into that process. To begin with, your team will consist of one Market Research Analyst, two Business Development Representatives and three Account Executives. You’ll refer straight to the CCO and will soon find yourself in a truly flat organization where you won’t hit any of the “if only I could’s…” you’re probably frustrated about in your current position.We expect you to take complete ownership in taking our sales process from start-up messy (good…) into scale-up tight (better!) and naturally you would aspire to head up sales as the organization, client base and top line grows. After all, you’re probably not only motivated by personal success but also to succeed within the IoT space, which ultimately will benefit people, profit and the planet!WHAT YOU’LL DO- Meeting - or exceeding - your monthly KPI’s- Build and lead your sales team in Onomondo and show the way for a scalable sales process with lead gen, BDR’s and AE- Be a very active player towards the management team, your team and the whole team in professionalizing our business and sales whilst maintaining our precious culture- Help scope and re-scope the commercial strategy and sales tactics as we learn, fail and succeed- Show outstanding management skills and build a team that any ambitious SaaS/tech salesperson would kill to be a part of- Lead by example by being a player-coach and carry a direct sales KPI yourself- Represent and evangelize Onomondo, product and vision in the most admirable way- Identify and understand customer verticals, trends, goals, plans, challenges, timelines, budgets and stakeholders- Apply a data-driven approach to identifying pockets/verticals of interest for your team and high sense of urgency and ownership in the following hunt- Manage complex enterprise sales that involves stakeholders from multiple departments and levels- Demonstrate creativity, tenacity and contagious enthusiasm in directing and hunting your individual goals, team goals as well as the shared company vision- Play an active role in establishing and improving the customer acquisition process- Forecast accurately and maintaining pipeline data in Hubspot CRMWHAT YOU’LL NEED- 4-8 years of sales experience within SaaS, B2B, tech or tele and in a high-paced environment with a track record of consistently meeting/exceeding goals or quotas- +2 years of management experience with proven track record of hiring, retaining and developing individuals and teams- Thorough understanding of sales and negotiating techniques and the ability to perform value-based sales and technical advisory- A passion for tech and an understanding of IoT and the possibilities it provides for people, profit and the planet- Quick learning attributes that enable you to pivot and work through ambiguity- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills (proficiency in English)- Natural and authentic leader – you have a passion for developing talent and coaching a team to success, inspire confidence, and lead by example- Experienced user of CRM (HubSpot a plus) to manage sales pipeline and activities- Acute self-awareness and desire to grow with our organization - personally and professionally- Excellent interpersonal skills; active listening, communication, negotiation, empathyWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?A unique opportunity to make a big difference in a cool Copenhagen-based tech startup on a mission to conquer and connect the world through IoT.
