The Position: With direct report to the Sales Executive, Mark & Wedell is looking for a Sales Manager that after a short training period will be responsible for Export sales in one of our regions. Our main regions are divided between North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Depending on your competences and preferences, you will be assigned to one of the regions. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial profile with a proven track record and with strong technical flair.


  • Selling Mark & Wedell´s product and solutions to new clients, current key accounts and dealers
  • Coordinating and contributing to marketing campaigns and sales planning
  • Supporting and monitoring sales opportunities in your assigned region, including lead generation, lead qualification, bid/no-bid decision and order forecasting
  • Formulating and communicating the value proposition of our products, solutions and services
  • Supporting the executive management in the strategic development of the company
  • Supporting the product marketing function
  • Produce quotations of high quality, often based on tender specifications.


Skills, qualifications and requirements needed to succeed in the job :

  • 5+ years of high level technical sales experience in the engineering sector, including consultative selling
  • A master/bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical or other relevant engineering
  • Negotiating skill on high level
  • Key account management for EPC, end customers, OEM´s, dealers
  • Ability to map and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated 5+ years knowledge from the mining/power or similar heavy industries
  • Demonstrated track record of face to face selling including meeting sales budgets and strategic goals
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, yet a pro-active team player
  • Superior communication skills, especially in English
  • Additional languages will be an advantage
  • Business travel 50-75 days per year
