A day in the life of a Sales Representative

As a sales representative, you will be a valued member of the Pet Professional (PP) team, where you will build close relationships with customers together with your team. You will be responsible for Customer profitable growth, development and satisfaction in the respective Sales district in Denmark. To manage this, you will work closely with your direct colleagues in the Pet Professional Sales team In Denmark, but also with other internal stakeholders within Royal Canin Nordics.

Essential duties and responsibilities

You will also be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Prepare and execute on efficient route planning

  • Sales development and analysis – present and ask for feedback/input from clinics (nutritional responsible and clinic manager)

  • Report on the status on qualitative trade terms and causes to growth and decline

  • Ensure compliance check on assortment distribution, shelves/ planograms, POS, secondary placement, weighing scale area, leaflets etc.)

  • Present activations/campaigns, promotions, gimmick for the clinic/petowner and other marketing materials to sell-out and plan on nutrition days

  • Perform score Card Registration across all our categories

  • Support clinics in specific and complicated pathology cases

  • Perform training sessions following our quarterly theme sale cycles, or specific training needs identified – utilize Royal Canin academy and Vet nurse academies as training levers

  • Ensure portfolio updates and launches – including ensure MWB developments

  • System trainings - how to optimize collaboration with Royal Canin utilizing the Web-shop, Vet services, Royal Canin academy and other Royal Canin systems/processes

  • Execute on Perfect Clinic and Slimming Clinic programs

  • What are we looking for?

    We are looking for a service-minded person that is not afraid to learn new things. You enjoy interacting with customers and have a passion for first experiences in sales.

    You have a degree in technical subject, such as vet nurse, nutritionist, veterinarian or similar field. You have at least 1 year sales experience focusing on business to business within nutritional-, medical or related business. Having a knowledge of vet clinic, veterinary operation will be a plus for this role.

    You are good at creating strong relationships, and trust and long-term engagement with customers. You like working independently and managing work in a structured way, yet you are also a team player. Positive attitude and mindset and being agile in fast moving environment are among your strengths.

    You speak Danish and English, as English is our corporate language. Additionally, you have strong understanding and experience with MS Office and CRM systems, as you will manage your customers using these tools.
